48 pages, issue, text: germanThis book contains patterns for lace and inserts in various widths and different styles. A large part of them come from the 1980s. I designed them for the bobbiners of my courses. The offer of bobbin books was not exactly lush at this time. When the patterns were bobbin-wrapped, the yarns of the Bockens brand were used throughout, as indicated in the respective pattern. 78/3 is a yarn of the brand Goldschild. The handkerchieves were sewn onto prefabricated fabric inner parts. For the patterns 1, 2 and 3, the side length of the fabric was 26 cm, the patterns 4, 5 and 6 were between 15.5 and 16 cm. If prefabricated handkerchiefs are to be used, they should of course be available before the lace is laceed. The entire bobbin wreath was made and compared with the length of the material used. If necessary, the letter must be slightly enlarged or reduced. In any case, the inner edge of the bobbin wrap should be about 5 cm longer than the edge length of the fabric insert, because the tip contracts a bit when removing the needles. Of course, other yarns of corresponding thickness can be used. For cotton yarn, of course, cotton is also needed. Lace and fabric should be of the same material. For each sample, a working drawing is printed for a repeat, but not colored. The shots are clearly visible in the illustrations. I have also refrained from drawing the twists. Their number is also visible in the figures. It is also up to each lace maker to perform the lace according to his own ideas. For some samples, the top sample already shows various possibilities of execution. Difficult points are illustrated by detail drawings.
